i would like to warmly invite any of you nasty old apostates in the southeast us to a nice evening at the theatre to watch my wife play the role of "shelby" in the whole backstage's production of the stageplay "steel magnolias".

My husband was a regular in our towns community theater. He loved it. He once dressed as woman in "Love, Sex, and the IRS." I had a hard time finding shoes to fit his size 12 feet. I finally found some lovely Selby brand shoes. Multi-colored to match many dress colors. He played Sneaky in "The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch". Had to grow out a beard, he looked like the bum he played. He made sure all of his customers knew he was in a play, not an unshaven bum. Many many more. He loved them.

So tell your wife to have fun, help her with her lines, and show up everynight to support her!! HL

Penn & Teller, what do you guys think of them?

i got turned on to penn & teller recently and have gone back and watched almost every episode of "bullshit!

" and i have to say i am pretty impressed.

anybody else here watch them, if so what do you think?

Penn's baby girl is Moxie CrimeFighter Jillette. 6 pounds 6 ounces Born about 6/16/05. It is their first child.

"We chose her middle name because when she's pulled over for speeding she can say, 'But officer, were on the same side,' Jillette explained "My middle name is CrimeFighter." His show sidekick---The typically mute Teller----had no comment on the new arrival. HL

I thought more of them, until Penn announced the name of his new baby girl. I may not have the first name right, I will check on it later. The middle name however I know. It is Moxie CrimeFighter _________ . HL

i ran out of happy pills sunday.

so monday i was feeling it.

when cnn started discussing peter jennings, death from lung cancer.

bttt I work in the health field. I'm a Dental Hygienist. When I smoked, I couldn't bring myself to tell people not to smoke. Hell, they could probably smell it on me, even though I tried really hard to hide it.

Now when I try to talk to patients, they just brush me off, or get really mad, and its the first time I have brought it up. I have quit trying to talk to them. Today I decided that I will resume my quest. I will tell my friends everytime I see them, and my patients to quit smoking. I may run everybody away, but they have to understand that I really do care. HL
